Posting Guidelines
Every listing is reviewed by a real person before it goes live. Most are approved within one working day.
What we'll publish
- Genuine vacancies for paid work, based on or primarily serving the Isle of Wight.
- Clear job title, location, contract type, and either a salary or an honest salary range.
- A description that tells a candidate what they'd actually be doing day-to-day.
- A named employer (limited company, sole trader, agency, or charity).
What we won't publish
- Unpaid roles, "commission only" roles disguised as salaried, or anything that isn't a real job.
- MLM / pyramid / "be your own boss" recruitment schemes.
- Listings that breach UK equality law (e.g. age, gender, race-based requirements unless a genuine occupational requirement applies).
- Listings with no employer name, no contact route, or contact details that don't work.
- Roles based off-Island with no real Island connection — we're a local board.
How moderation works
- You complete the listing form and pay £89.
- We review the listing — usually within one working day.
- If we have questions, we'll email you. If everything's fine, your listing goes live for 30 days and you'll be emailed when it does.
- If we have to decline a listing we'll refund the £89 in full.
